Li Tie is a Chinese soccer legend.


One of the few Chinese players to -truly make a mark overseas Cheap Nike Air Vapormax , the defensive midfielder became a cult hero at Everton, helping the fallen giant to the giddy heights of seventh place in the English Premier League during the 2002-03 season.

So it was something of a surprise to see him in the headlines recently for all the wrong reasons.

His defense was that he didn't realize the team's clothing rules also applied to the coach - a pretty feeble argument given that he was otherwise clothed in Nike team wear.

When you consider that he has likely never paid for a single piece of sportswear during his entire adult life, it's enough to wonder whether it wasn't -deliberate.


It certainly wouldn't have been -tolerated during his time at Everton: Team sponsors shell out increasingly large amounts to teams and have the right to ensure that their contracts are honored.


It brings to mind an incident last year when Guangzhou Evergrande replaced its shirt sponsor without permission ahead of their biggest game of the year - the Asian Champions League final, second leg.


While bush league moves of this type do nothing to improve the reputation of Chinese soccer abroad, it is good to see fines being handed out when infringements do occur.


Without adequate enforcement Cheap Air Vapormax , sponsors will slowly drift away and all the moves being made to improve standards on the field will be undone by actions off it.

ACCRA, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Ghana's quest to make it a third- straight World Cup appearance in Brazil next year was given a huge boost following an emphatic 6-1 mauling of Egypt in the first-leg play-off of the qualifiers in Kumasi Cheap Air Max 2017 , Ghana's second largest city on Tuesday.
